DSIDC Annual Conference

This conference, the theme for which is "young onset dementia", is very timely in the light of the government's forthcoming National Dementia Strategy.  

This one day conference will explore the challenges facing these people, their family members and service providers dealing with this less common form of dementia.  To address various aspects of the topic on the day, the line up of speakers include, Professor John Keady - Professor of Mental Health Nursing and Older People - Manchester University, Professor Brian Lawlor - Consultant Old Age Psychiatrist, St James's Hospital, Dr Siobhan Hutchinson - Consultant Neurologist, St James's Hospital, Mr Per Kristian Haugen, Senior Research Fellow, Norwegian Centre for Research Education and Service Development, Professor Mary McCarron - Dean of Health Science, Trinity College, Dublin and Mr Gerry Martin - CEO Alzheimer Society of Ireland and Ms Helen Rochford- Brennan
