Biography: 

Caroline Finn holds a BA in Applied Social Studies in Social Care from Athlone Institute of Technology and an Msc in Applied Social Research from Trinity College Dublin. On completion of her BA she spent two years working as a residential childcare worker with unaccompanied minors and a further year and a half working a senior citizen support worker in a Community Development Project based in Dublin city. Whilst completing her Msc she completed a five month internship in the Irish National Contact Point of the European Migration Network (EMN) which is based in the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI). In April 2011 Caroline took up the position of researcher within the Irish Centre for Social Gerontology (ICSG). She is currently engaged in a research project examining poverty and the lifecourse and also involved in carrying out an intergenerational mapping exercise.
