Biography: 

Paddy Gillespie is an affiliated post-doctoral researcher with the Irish Centre of Social Gerontology and the Discipline of Economics at NUI Galway. His research interests are health economics and health technology assessment and his work to date has explored a variety of research questions in relation to heart disease, diabetes, dementia, multimorbidity, and infectious disease. He also teaches and contributes to a number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the disciplines of Economics, Psychology, Health Promotion and General Practice at NUI Galway.
