Marie Curie Action Fellowships at ICSG

Mar 2014
Marie Curie Action Fellowships are European research grants available to researchers to gain experience abroad and to complete their training with competences or disciplines useful for their careers. This includes both the Intra-European Fellowships for Career Development (IEF) and the International Incoming Fellowships (IIF) for experienced researchers.

With a comprehensive interdisciplinary research programme on the social, economic and health and well-being aspects of ageing, the Irish Centre for Social Gerontology (ICSG) provides an exciting and supportive environment for work on both the empirical and conceptual elements of ageing and social gerontology. If you are interesting in exploring the opportunities offered by Marie Curie Action Fellowships to work at the ICSG, and meet the criteria for participation, please contact the centre at icsghttp://www.nuigalway.ie/images/at.gifnuigalway.ie. Potential areas of research might include:

·         Ageing and place
·         Ageing and the life course
·         Economics of Ageing
·         Dementia care
·         Health and well-being in later life
